Establish a travel grant

Individuals, groups of individuals or organizations can establish a designated fund to support one or more travel grants through the ARVO Foundation. We'll work with you to determine the criteria for your travel grant, and the ARVO Foundation will administer it on your behalf. Travel grants require a minimum five-year funding commitment or may be established through an endowment.

All travel grant sponsors are encouraged to attend the poster or paper presentation given by your grant recipient.

Travel grant pricing

• $1,070 for a recipient from the U.S.
• $1,470 for a recipient from outside of the U.S.

Commitments must be confirmed by Sept. 30 of the current year for travel grants that will be awarded for the following year's Annual Meeting.

Travel grants provide the recipient with meeting registration and a stipend to help cover travel expenses, plus a small administrative fee to cover management costs.
